Questions

Is minsign really free?

Yes. 100% free. No credit card, no trial period, no freemium tier. Free to send, free to sign, free forever.

Do you store my documents?

No. Documents exist in memory only — just long enough for the signer to receive and sign them. After 48 hours the session is permanently deleted. Nothing is ever written to disk.

Do I need an account?

Never. Not for senders, not for signers. Open the site, upload, done.

How does signing work?

You upload a PDF and enter signer emails. Each signer gets a unique link. They enter their name and initials, initial each page, sign the last page, and submit. A signed PDF is immediately emailed to all parties.

How long does the signing link last?

48 hours. After that the link and document are gone. If the signer misses it, you send again — takes 30 seconds.

Is a minsign signature legally binding?

The signed PDF includes the signer's name, email address, a hashed IP address, and a precise timestamp on every page — a complete audit trail. For most agreements this is sufficient. For documents requiring notarisation or witnessed signatures, consult a lawyer.

What file types are supported?

PDF only. That's it. Convert your Word doc or image to PDF first.

How many signers can I add?

As many as you need. Separate emails with commas.

What happens to my data after signing?

The session is marked complete and expires naturally. No data is retained. minsign has no database of documents, users, or signatures.

Why is this free?

minsign is intentionally minimal. No dashboard, no storage, no enterprise features. Low infrastructure cost means we can run it free.
